Free PlayStation Plus April 2024 Games for Now Available

The free April PlayStation Plus games for 2024 — Immortals of Aveum, Minecraft Legends, and Skul: The Hero Slayer — are now available for subscribers to download. These free PS Plus games cover a few different genres and should therefore offer something to suite most gamers’ varied interests.

PlayStation Plus Essential is the lowest tier of Sony’s gaming subscription service, and one of the perks of membership is that three free games come up for grabs every month. These titles will remain in a user’s library for as long as they remain with the service, but even if a PS Plus subscription lapses and then is renewed, all previously acquired free games will become available again.

Immortals of Aveum is a single-player first-person shooter developed by Ascendant Studios that currently sits at a 72 on OpenCritic. Players take on the role of Jak, a battlemage saving the world from the Everwar using magic-based powers.

Skul: The Hero Slayer is a roguelike platformer from Southpaw Games that won several awards pre-launch. As a tough little skeleton soldier, Skul crosses paths with Demon slayers and must hunt the hunters to free captured Demons. Procedurally generated levels offer challenge wrapped in pixel art.

Minecraft Legends is the real-time strategy spin-off from Mojang and Blackbird Interactive. Despite a “Mixed” Steam review and dwindling player numbers, the base-building and combat exploration retain fans.

In addition, PS Plus subscribers receive the Combat Pack 3 bundle for Call of Duty, including a blue operator skin, weapon blueprints, and more. All free April 2024 games are now available for PlayStation Plus members to enjoy across different genres.
